PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hongi Hika (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Alexandrovich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexandrovich has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Sergei Alexandrovich told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hika lands with a nice body kick.
Alexandrovich looks winded!
Hika throws a quick inside leg kick.
Alexandrovich takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hika lands a really nice looking cross but Alexandrovich seems unphased.
An inside leg kick lands from Hika.
Hika connects with a body shot that sends Alexandrovich's belly button to the back.

Hika sends Alexandrovich crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Hika is motioning to the referee to let Alexandrovich up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Sergei Alexandrovich has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Hika with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hika connects with an inside leg kick.
Hika lands with a nice body kick.
Hika turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Hika feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alexandrovich sprawling to the canvas! Alexandrovich rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Hika finish him?!

Alexandrovich is rocked!
Hika connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Alexandrovich out cold! This one is over in a flash!
