Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bee Jay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tetsuo Miyagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Bee Jay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tetsuo Miyagi!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Jay.
Jay scores with a jab. Miyagi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jay's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Jay duly obliges.
Miyagi's coach down at Xtreme Punishment was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Miyagi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Bee Jay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A solid leg kick lands there for Jay.
Jay connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Jay gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Jay lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Miyagi backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Miyagi is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jay can't fight it off and eventually Miyagi manages to take the fight to the floor. Jay looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Miyagi is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Jay is just riding it out for now. Miyagi eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Miyagi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Jay has managed to free his arm - good work.

Miyagi is working for a guillotine from mount but Jay frees his head quite easily.
Miyagi manages to capitalize on a mistake by Jay to take his back!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Jay is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Miyagi gets his way!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jay fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Miyagi.

Jay's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jay misses with a series of wild punches.
Miyagi shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Jay sprawls well. Jay wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Miyagi gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been told by Jay's head coaches at Tōshi that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Jay cracks Miyagi with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Miyagi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Jay tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Miyagi is in Jay's guard.

Jay pushes Miyagi off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jay's corner calls for a 1-2. Jay obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

The fight stays on the outside here - Jay looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Miyagi drops his hands momentarily and Jay takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Miyagi misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Miyagi is defended easily by Jay.
Bee Jay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tetsuo Miyagi.

Jay is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Miyagi can do to turn this around?

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The crowd cheers as Jay lands an impressive looking overhand right. Miyagi doesn't seem phased though.
Tetsuo Miyagi is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Jay tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Miyagi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Jay shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

Miyagi has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Miyagi wants to take the fight to the mat but Jay manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Miyagi drops down looking for an ankle pick but Jay pulls his leg out and moves away.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Tetsuo Miyagi has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bee Jay is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Bee Jay showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jay, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Bee Jay was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
