The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grayson throws a right hand that misses
and Grayson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Stalk keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Grayson.
Grayson looks to score with a jab to the body but Stalk is just out of range.
Stalk stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Grayson slips under a jab.
Grayson throws out a loose jab but Stalk uses good head movement to avoid it.
Stalk throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Grayson takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Stalk moves into range and connects with a jab.
Grayson thows a left - swing and a miss!

Stalk looks to land a left hand but Grayson moved out of range nicely.
Stalk fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Grayson manages to avoid it.

Grayson throws a looping overhand right but Stalk ducks down to avoid it.
Stalk tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grayson was well out of range. Poor timing from Stalk.
Stalk lands a really nice looking cross but Grayson seems unphased.
Grayson throws a shot from downtown. Stalk moves away and avoids it.
Jack Stalk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Stalk stalks Grayson and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Grayson's face. Grayson staggers backwards, shaken.
Stalk throws an overhand right that lands on Grayson's shoulder, as Grayson tries to avoid the shot.
Grayson lands with a straight right. Stalk didn't see that one coming.

A looping hook to the body misses from Stalk. Grayson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Grayson closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Stalk changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Stalk dodges the punch combination from Grayson.
Grayson takes a swing at Stalk's ribcage but misses.
The fighters circling - Grayson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Grayson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Stalk throws a good cross that connects.
Stalk throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Grayson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Grayson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stalk was well out of range. Poor timing from Grayson.
Grayson blocks a jab.
Stalk misses with a body shot.
Grayson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Stalk stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Grayson lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Grayson lands a slapping body shot.
Grayson connects with a jab.

It looks like Jack Stalk has been cut.
Stalk has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Stalk there as he acknowledges the shot.
Grayson works Stalk's body with a nice hook.
Stalk is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Grayson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Grayson throws a right and a left that Stalk avoids nicely.
Stalk misses with an uppercut
and Grayson counters with a straight right hand.

Grayson jabs Stalk to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Grayson scores with a nice head shot.

Grayson drops Stalk with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Stalk looks back up at him and smiles so Grayson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Stalk is rocked!
Stalk walks straight into a right hand from Grayson - that's dropped him! Grayson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Stalk from any more punishment! Stalk complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
