The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoupp throws a front kick aimed at Slevin's knee but Slevin avoids it well.
Slevin works over Shoupp's head and body with a nice combination.
Shoupp takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Shoupp tries a low kick but Slevin avoids it.
Shoupp shoots for a double leg takedown but Slevin sprawls well. He's pushed Shoupp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Alex Shoupp's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
