The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Backlund waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Mann.
Mann has Backlund up against the cage in a clinch.
Backlund works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
Backlund drops back looking for a leg! Mann is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Mann manages to kick Backlund off! Backlund jumps back into Mann's guard.
Backlund won't allow Mann to get back to his feet.
Backlund throws a big elbow that misses.
Backlund slips nicely into half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Backlund works his foot free and advances to mount.
Backlund is dominating on the ground here - he's now on his opponent's back, looking to sink in the hooks. Mann is in real trouble.

Backlund has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Mann is defending well but eventually Backlund manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Mann has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
