Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Monty Lott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Matias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fabricio Matias is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lott gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Lott pulls Matias in close to prevent any damage.
Matias trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lott wants to stand but Matias is controlling the position.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lott holds on and takes a little breather.

Lott's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Lott wants to stand but Matias is controlling the position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Lott misses with a series of wild punches.
Lott throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Matias.

Matias shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Lott keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Matias prevents Lott from standing back up.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Matias has eaten all the pies!
Lott is pressing down on Matias's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Lott wants to stand but Matias is controlling the position.

Lott pushes Matias off and scrambles back to his feet.

Matias manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Lott on his heels. He'll look to pass Lott's guard now, I'm sure.

Matias is fighting to break Lott's control of his arms but Lott is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Matias is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Lott manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Matias on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Lott with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Lott tries to work over Matias's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Lott tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Lott tries to land knees in the clinch but Matias avoids the damage to the body.

Matias gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Fabricio Matias will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Matias slips under a jab.
Matias is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Matias fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lott to the ground. Matias is now in Lott's guard.
Matias wants to stand and escape but instead Lott has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Lott stands up from guard. Let's bang!

Matias fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lott sprawls well initially but Matias persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Lott manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Matias keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Matias has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lott regains guard immediately.

Lott pushes Matias off and scrambles back to his feet.
Matias is breathing heavily.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Matias.
Lott is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Matias off and has taken his back!
Lott is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
Further stalling from Lott.
Lott will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Lott seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Matias for as long as he can get away with.
Lott is hanging on to Matias's back as he tries to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Lott slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Lott has the hooks in. Matias is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Lott passes his arm under Matias's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Matias taps!
