Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Abu Papu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Sherk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Papu's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, abu theme. Sherk has chosen Divinations by Mastodon as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherk takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Sherk throws a low kick but it's checked well by Papu.
Sherk tries to clinch up

and Papu counters by clinching up.
Papu lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Sherk backwards.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Papu.
Papu digs a right hand into Sherk's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Sherk's gas tank.
Papu gets through Sherk's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Dave Sherk has been cut.
A right hand to the body from Papu.
Papu lands a nice knee to the body.
Sherk looks winded!
Papu landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Papu lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Sherk is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Papu throws a big uppercut that drops Sherk! More strikes from Papu and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Sherk lies dazed against the cage as Papu celebrates with his cornermen!
