The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akinfenwa tries to clinch but Lancier moves out of range.
Akinfenwa moves in looking to clinch but Lancier pushes him off.

Akinfenwa moves into range and clinches up with Lancier.
Akinfenwa lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Lancier ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lancier no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Akinfenwa is looking to stand up but Lancier won't let him.

Akinfenwa is sitting in close to Lancier's body. Lancier has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Akinfenwa is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Akinfenwa is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Lancier.
