Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Brown!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Stirling Sanguin!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Steve Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanguin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Sanguin tries to sprawl but Brown drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Sanguin looking for subs from the bottom but Brown mounts him!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sanguin is trying desperately to improve position.
Brown breaks from Sanguin's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Brown is landing with some decent strikes but Sanguin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Brown cracks Sanguin with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sanguin is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Sanguin felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Brown connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Brown has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Sanguin's face.

Sanguin is rocked!
Brown lands a big shot to the head and Sanguin winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
