The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Kirigaya Kazuto has been cut.
Jamille Sedfenor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sedfenor throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Sedfenor lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kazuto circles away quickly and effectively.
Sloppy strikes from Sedfenor. Those never looked like landing.

Sedfenor throws a series of punches but Kazuto moves out of range.

Kazuto changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Sedfenor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kazuto goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Sedfenor rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Kazuto's guard! Nice work there by Sedfenor!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Sedfenor is pressing down on Kazuto's thigh, looking to free his foot. Kazuto is holding on for now.
Kazuto is looking to control Sedfenor's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Kazuto avoid being mounted?

Kazuto has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Sedfenor is working away from the top position though.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Sedfenor shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kazuto napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kazuto is looking to reverse the position.
Sedfenor is looking to take a break and control but Kazuto is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sedfenor shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kazuto is trying to defend but Sedfenor finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Sedfenor has an Americana. Kazuto didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sedfenor is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sedfenor hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
