With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Kennith Kole!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kole misses with a body kick.
Byrne scores with a punch to the head.
Kole takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Kole moves to clinch but Byrne breaks away
and Byrne counters with a flying knee. Nice.
Kole tries for a takedown but Byrne sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Byrne blocks the body kick.
Kole misses with a lunging right hand
and Byrne counters with an inside leg kick.
Byrne moves out of range of the strikes.
Kole loads up on a big right hand but Byrne slips the punch.
Kole looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Byrne swats away the attempt to clinch by Kole.
Kole tries to clinch there but Byrne circles away.
Byrne has been working on his boxing with his coaches at LOD-Guts & Glory Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Kennith Kole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Byrne misses with a low kick.
Kole tries a head kick but it misses.
Kole darts in trying to clinch
and Byrne connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Byrne throws a nice outside leg kick.
Matt Byrne is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Kole looks to throw a body kick

and Byrne counters with a left and a right that hurts Kole! He wobbles and falls to the floor - he's in big trouble! Byrne jumps into full mount!

Kole is rocked!
Byrne looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Kole covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
