Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magnus Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nelson Muntz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muntz misses with a head kick.
Muntz throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Muntz connects with a jab.

Cross closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Muntz wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Muntz is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Muntz is trying to force a seperation but Cross has the dominant position.

Cross successfully pulls guard.
Muntz wants to get up but he can't break Cross's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Muntz stands and steps away. Cross gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Cross has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Cross connects with a good right hand that stumbles Muntz. Muntz circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

It looks like Nelson Muntz has been cut.
Cross fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Muntz manages to avoid it.
Cross looks to score with a jab to the body but Muntz is just out of range.
Muntz thumps Cross with a low kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Muntz shoots in for a takedown but Cross shows good takedown defense.
Cross tries to bum rush Muntz with a series of wild strikes but Muntz uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Muntz tries a head kick but it misses.

Cross cracks Muntz with a big right hand and Muntz goes down!

Muntz is rocked!
Cross arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Muntz's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
