Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kazushi Yakuza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ulf Jensson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yakuza comes to the cage accompanied by Galang Gal. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakuza throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
An inside leg kick lands from Yakuza.
Yakuza misses with a low kick.
Yakuza scores with a head kick. Jensson tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.

We've been told by Yakuza's head coaches at Cutthroat that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Yakuza buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Yakuza throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Jensson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Yakuza bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Yakuza lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Jensson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Let's hope that Jensson has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Jensson shoots in looking for a takedown but Yakuza manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Jensson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Jensson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Yakuza tries to avoid it but Jensson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Yakuza to the ground. Yakuza escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Yakuza, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
