The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lannister looks to score with a jab to the body but Dembele is just out of range.
Dembele tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Dembele has Lannister pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Lannister is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Dembele - that's hurt Lannister badly! Oh, another knee lands and Lannister is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Lannister doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Kovu Dembele!
A less than humble Kovu Dembele misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
