Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ward displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Hong throws out the jab.
Hong throws an ugly left hook that misses

and Ward counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Ward.
Hong lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.


Hong avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hong connects with a couple of short punches.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Ward is working for an americana but Hong has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Ward was thinking about the submission.

Tuke Hong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ward on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Hong. Hong obviously looking to wear him down.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Hong tries to get to full guard but Ward has control of the leg.

Ward is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hong sees it coming and defends easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Hong jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hong lands a lovely overhand right.
Ward throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hong's waist but Hong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Ward off to one side.

Ward blocks the body kick.
Hong checks the leg kick.
Ward slips a jab from Hong.
Ward throws a big shot that misses.

Hong misses with a looping right.
Hong throws a looping overhand right but Ward ducks down to avoid it.
Tuke Hong is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hong circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Ward to the canvas! Ward doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hong keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
