Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rupert Whiston!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, John Shephard!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whiston lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Shephard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Whiston feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Shephards jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Shephard moves out of range of the strikes.

Whiston tries to keep at a distance but Shephard has taken the fight into the clinch.

Whiston breaks the clinch.
A swing and a miss from Whiston.
Whiston throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Shephard on the side of the head.
Shephard misses the jab.

Whiston drops Shephard with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Shephard looks back up at him and smiles so Whiston waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Shephard is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big right from Whiston misses.
Shephard is still on wobbly legs! Can Whiston finish him?

Shephard closes the distance and clinches.

Whiston pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Shephard takes a swing at Whiston's ribcage but misses.
Shephard seems to have recovered his senses.
Shephard looks winded!
Whiston lands a nice looking body shot.
Whiston scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Shephard doesn't seem bothered though.
Whiston scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Whiston swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Shephard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
and Whiston counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Shephard! He's just covering up as Whiston starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
