The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Yes manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Conway on his heels. He'll look to pass Conway's guard now, I'm sure.
Yes stays in close to Conway's body and controls the position.
Conway could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
It looks like Yes might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Yes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Yes scores with a takedown into Conway's guard.
Conway trying to keep a closed guard but Yes is proving a slippery customer.
Yes is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Yes.
Yes tries for a takedown but Conway circles away easily
and Conway counters with a nice uppercut.
Yes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Conway pinned against the cage. Conway gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Cordell Conway has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of no Yes.
