Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Magamedov!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker closes the distance and clinches up with Magamedov, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes Magamedov against the cage but Magamedov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Parker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Parker shoots in looking for a takedown. Magamedov tries to sprawl out of it but Parker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Magamedov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Magamedov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Parker moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Magamedov throws a sloppy head kick
and Parker counters with a head kick that drops Magamedov to the mat! Magamedov scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Magamedov stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Parker.
Parker lands a hook that stumbles Magamedov back into the cage. Parker follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Magamedov to the canvas! Parker pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Magamedov has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Peter Parker!
