Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Malverde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jock Sleed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sleed has chosen I'm An Individual as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesus Malverde!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jock Sleed!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malverde throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Malverde throws out a loose jab but Sleed uses good head movement to avoid it.
Malverde looks to land a body kick but Sleed moved away.
Malverde ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sleed throws a right hand that misses
and Sleed takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Sleed connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Sleed throws a solid leg kick but Malverde takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Sleed.
Sleed blocks a jab.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sleed has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Sleed slips a jab and a cross from Malverde.
Sleed moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Malverde checks a leg kick.
Sleed connects with a leg kick. Malverde looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Malverde throws a leg kick but Sleed sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Malverde takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Malverde scores with a crisp jab that stopped Sleed in his tracks.
Sleed misses with a body shot.
Sleed throws a quick inside leg kick.
Sleed misses the shot to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sleed swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Sleed throws a nice looking combination but Malverde bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sleed lands a nice shot to the body.
Sleed throws a hook to the side of Malverde's head but Malverde sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Malverde connects with a crisp jab.
Malverde throws a sloppy body shot

and Sleed counters with a single leg into guard. Malverde didn't expect that.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sleed accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Malverde is looking to cinch up a triangle. Sleed throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Malverde's body to avoid the submission. Malverde has instead reached around Sleed's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Malverde arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jesus Malverde!
After winning the bout, Jesus Malverde thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
