Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Burishkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Lobas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burishkov comes into the arena with Not a step back blaring out of the sound system. Lobas is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Apex by REVOCATION. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Viktor Burishkov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Andy Lobas!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burishkov tries to bum rush Lobas with a series of wild strikes but Lobas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Lobas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lobas throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Burishkov has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Sanitarium in the buildup to the fight.
The crowd cheers as Burishkov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lobas doesn't seem phased though.
Lobas cracks Burishkov with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Burishkov shoots in but Lobas avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Lobas throws a lazy right hand but Burishkov sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Burishkov takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Burishkov moves into range and clinches up with Lobas.
Lobas misses with a hook from the clinch.

Burishkov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lobas throws a low kick, looking for Burishkov's leg but Burishkov calmly moves out of range.

Burishkov rushes Lobas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lobas tries to throw a body punch but Burishkov avoids it by throwing Lobas back against the cage.

Burishkov manages to break the clinch.
Lobas misses with a body shot.
Burishkov shoots for a double leg takedown but Lobas sprawls well. He's pushed Burishkov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Burishkov paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

It looks like Andy Lobas has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!

Burishkov closes the distance and pushes Lobas back into the cage.

Burishkov is trying to break the clinch but Lobas has him pressed against the cage.
Burishkov is trying to force a seperation but Lobas has the dominant position.
Lobas has Burishkov pressed against the cage, preventing Burishkov from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Come on Lobas - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Lobas keeps control of Burishkov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Burishkov is looking to break free of the clinch but Lobas has double underhooks.
Lobas tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Burishkov's elbow.

Burishkov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Burishkov moves into range and clinches up with Lobas.
Lobas keeps control of Burishkov as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Lobas misses with a knee to the head.

Burishkov is trying to break the clinch but Lobas has him pressed against the cage.

Burishkov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Lobas fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Lobas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Burishkov.
Andy Lobas is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Lobas closes the distance and clinches.
Lobas tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Burishkov lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lobas keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Burishkov's efforts to push away.
Burishkov wants to get back to striking at distance but Lobas won't allow it.

Burishkov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lobas slips a jab and a cross from Burishkov.
A combination from Lobas does no damage.
A nice combination there by Burishkov.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
and Burishkov counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Lobas! He's just covering up as Burishkov starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viktor Burishkov!
