Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Te Rauparaha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lemy Waters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lemy Waters told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lemy Waters!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Ryoma Takatsuka and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rauparaha waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Waters.
Rauparaha pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Rauparaha misses with a hook.
The fighters circling - Rauparaha throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Rauparaha looks to land a left hand but Waters moved out of range nicely.
Waters lands with a nice body punch.
Rauparaha throws an off balance right hand
and Waters counters with a nice double leg into side control. Rauparaha won't be happy with that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The strikes coming from Waters are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Waters is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rauparaha looks calm but he's in trouble here. Waters gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rauparaha is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Waters lets go of the hold and Rauparaha can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lemy Waters!
