Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between JR Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emunn Samvesu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adams comes to the cage accompanied by 'Looking For The Stone' by Dry Branch Fire Squad. Emunn Samvesu will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

With a record of 7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Emunn Samvesu!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Adams takes a swing at Samvesu's ribcage but misses.
Emunn Samvesu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Samvesu.

Adams shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Samvesu's guard.

Samvesu looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Samvesu is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Adams stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Samvesu swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Samvesu tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Adams wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Adams has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Samvesu's face.

Adams lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Adams trying to control but Samvesu is having none of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Adams cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Samvesu is rocked!
Adams postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Samvesu badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Adams around the waist but Adams pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Adams is the winner by TKO! Adams jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
