The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Garcilazo drives through and clinches with Dumic against the cage.
Dumic tries to score a body lock takedown but Garcilazo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Garcilazo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Good leg kick by Garcilazo there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Garcilazo closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Garcilazo is looking to take a break and control but Dumic is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Garcilazo lands a couple of good shots and Dumic has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Garcilazo lands a good shot there. Dumic covers up! Garcilazo smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Dumic to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Garcilazo jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!

Marty Garcilazo decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
