Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Very Magnum!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Robert Kuni!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuni tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Magnum swivels and escapes.
Kuni should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kuni.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Kuni has eaten all the pies!
Kuni checks a leg kick.
Magnum shoots in but Kuni avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Magnum moves into the clinch.
Kuni tries for a takedown but Magnum manages to get underhooks.
Very Magnum has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Robert Kuni.
Kuni tries to land knees in the clinch but Magnum avoids the damage to the body.

Kuni breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Magnum takes a swing at Kuni's ribcage but misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kuni shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Magnum as he avoids it easily.
Kuni doesn't manage to clinch there - Magnum circles away.
Kuni stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kuni wants it to stay on the feet.
Kuni tries to clinch

and Magnum holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kuni wants to get back to striking at distance but Magnum won't allow it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A frustrated look appears on Kuni's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Kuni tries to circle away but Magnum has him pinned against the cage.

Magnum decides to pull guard.

Magnum pushes a forearm under Kuni's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Kuni is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Very Magnum!
