The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Bart Greer and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calvacante tries to clinch but Barrett moves away
and Barrett counters with a crisp one two that drops Calvacante! Barrett thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Calvacante to his feet! Calvacante is in big trouble!
Calvacante looks to clinch
and Barrett counters by clinching up.

Calvacante is trying to pull guard but Barrett has him pressed against the cage.
Barrett lands a body punch in the clinch.
Barrett lands a left hand that snaps the head of Calvacante backwards.
Barrett gets through Calvacante's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Calvacante is breathing heavily.

Barrett swings wildly with an uppercut but Calvacante uses good head movement to avoid it.

Barrett creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Calvacante with a big uppercut! Calvacante tries to clinch up but Barrett pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Calvacante to the mat! Calvacante covers up and Barrett unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

After winning the bout, Jason Barrett thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
