Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eugeniy Akulenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jun Gyeong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akulenko comes to the cage accompanied by Cowboys From Hell. Gyeong has chosen Intro as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jun Gyeong!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gyeong closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Akulenko taking a breather.
Akulenko can't break the clinch.
Gyeong wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Akulenko has him pressed against the cage.

Akulenko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Akulenko forces Gyeong back against the cage and clinches.
The referee is keeping an eye on Gyeong - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Gyeong is looking to control Akulenko's arms but Akulenko gets an underhook and turns him. Now Gyeong has his back to the cage.
Akulenko pushes Gyeong back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Akulenko tries to land a knee to the head but Gyeong blocks with his arms.

A slapping leg kick lands for Gyeong.
Akulenko throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Gyeong.

Akulenko closes the distance and pushes Gyeong back into the cage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Akulenko escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Akulenko throws a head kick but Gyeong moves out of range.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gyeong fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Akulenko, pushing him back against the cage.
