Johnson is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by welcome to the jungle. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Reuven Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kazaev drives through and clinches with Johnson against the cage.
Johnson wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kazaev has him pressed against the cage.

Kazaev breaks the clinch.
Johnson wants to land a leg kick but Kazaev is out of range.
Johnson throws a sloppy head kick and Kazaev moves out of range easily.
Johnson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Kazaev moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Kazaev could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Johnson misses with a kick to the body.
Kazaev wants to clinch
and Johnson counters with a slapping leg kick.

Johnson forces Kazaev back against the cage and clinches.
Johnson tries to throw a body punch but Kazaev avoids it by throwing Johnson back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johnson is trying to break the clinch but Kazaev has him pressed against the cage.

Kazaev shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Johnson's guard.
Johnson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
