The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez misses with the combination.

Main tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

and Main counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Main.

Main breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Main forces Perez back against the cage and clinches.

Main pulls guard.
Main is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perez won't allow Main to get back to his feet.
Main knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Perez on the ground.
