Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xavier Barbossa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barbossa misses with a combination
and Balboa connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Barbossa throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A head kick from Balboa lands but Barbossa takes it in his stride.
Barbossa throws a hook to the side of Balboa's head but Balboa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Barbossa misses with a two punch combination.
Barbossa bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Balboa's head backwards.

It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut.
Balboa lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Barbossa on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Balboa throws a head kick that misses.
Balboa avoids the body shot from Barbossa.
Barbossa throws a series of punches but Balboa moves out of range.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Balboa misses with a head kick.
Balboa takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Balboa throws a nice looking combination but Barbossa bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Balboa takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Rocky Balboa's cut is getting worse.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Balboa fails with the takedown.
Balboa swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A combination from Balboa does no damage.
Barbossa looks to land a combination. Balboa sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Balboa shoots in for a double leg but Barbossa sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Barbossa cracks Balboa with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Barbossa has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Balboa to stand back up!

Balboa is rocked!

Rocky Balboa's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Balboa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Oh Balboa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Barbossa connects with a stiff jab that staggers Balboa - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
