Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rahkim Abdullah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarik Belson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rahkim Abdullah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jarik Belson!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Belson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Abdullah looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Belson takes a swing at Abdullah's ribcage but misses.
Belson thuds a left hand into Abdullah's body.
Belson defending well as Abdullah loads up on a big left hand.
Belson thuds his right hand into Abdullah's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Belson swings for the body but Abdullah moves out of range.
Abdullah shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Belson sprawls well. Belson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Abdullah gets slowly back to his feet.

Abdullah changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Belson tries to avoid it but Abdullah manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Belson to the ground. Belson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Abdullah thuds his right hand into Belson's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Belson is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Abdullah rather than just go for the knockout.
Belson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Abdullah stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Abdullah dives in for a single leg takedown but Belson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Belson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Abdullah smiles and moves away.
Abdullah throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Belson's waist but Belson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Abdullah off to one side.
Abdullah fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Abdullah is keen to just control but Belson is a slippery customer.

My spies in The Sweat Lodge inform me that Belson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
