Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colin Lloyd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Lockhart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lloyd showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Lockhart.
Colin Lloyd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lloyd rushes Lockhart and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Lloyd manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Lockhart tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Lockhart jumps guard but Lloyd stands there with Lockhart around his waist. Lockhart gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Lloyd gets control of Lockhart's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lloyd will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Lloyd tries to lock up and control but Lockhart gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Lockhart prevents Lloyd from getting the reversal.

Lockhart is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Lloyd can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Lloyd knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lockhart on the ground.

Lloyd turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Lockhart off and cradles Lloyd's limp body as Lockhart celebrates with his corner.
