The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kokov throws a body shot but no joy.
Kaz tries a low kick but Kokov avoids it.
Kokov jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Kaz has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Kaz ducks under a wild hook from Kokov.
Kaz uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kokov.

Kokov closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Kaz throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kokov stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Kaz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Kaz is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

A nice inside leg kick there by Kaz. That's going to slow Kokov down.

Kokov walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Kokov limp body while Kaz jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!

Max Kaz decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
