Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cody Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Punk Destroy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Punk Destroy has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Destroy moves into the clinch successfully.
Destroy successfully pulls guard.
Destroy tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Destroy has his foot on Head's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Head works his way back into a safe position though.
Head content to stall in guard here.
Head seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Destroy for as long as he can get away with.
Destroy looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Destroy has control of Head's left arm, preventing Head from doing any damage.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Head trying to control but Destroy is working from the bottom.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Head has a takedown stuffed.
Head misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Destroy throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Head sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Punk Destroy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Destroy dives in and scores a takedown into Head's guard.

Destroy gets to his feet - Head follows without any prompting.
Destroy tries a head kick but it misses.
Destroy shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Head's guard.
Destroy with a flurry of punches that miss.
Head is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Destroy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Destroy passes into half guard.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Destroy not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Destroy lands strikes from half guard.
Destroy is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Head is just riding it out for now. Destroy eventually gives up the hold.
Destroy is trying to control the action in half guard but Head is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Punk Destroy dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Destroy throws a sloppy head kick and Head moves out of range easily.
Destroy decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Head is defending against the submission attempts here by Destroy.
Destroy is trying to improve position by moving to mount. Head has hold of his neck though and manages to move into guard! All of a sudden, Destroy is in a lot of trouble! Head is straining to finish and he's done it! Destroy taps out! Amazing!
