PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Ferrigno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Titus Arellius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arellius keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ferrigno is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Arellius.
Arellius lands with a hook. Ferrigno tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Arellius looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Arellius misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Ferrigno.
Ferrigno shoots for a double leg takedown but Arellius sprawls well. He's pushed Ferrigno's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Arellius catches Ferrigno with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Arellius gets caught napping as Ferrigno dives in and scores a takedown. Arellius manages to retain guard.
Ferrigno will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Ferrigno stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Arellius swivels though and keeps the full guard.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ferrigno wants to control but Arellius is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Arellius looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ferrigno with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Arellius leaves Ferrigno with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
