The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tran moves into range and clinches up with Morales.
Tran gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Tran thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Morales's head.
Nice strikes from Tran there.
Morales is rocked!
It looks like Abel Morales has been cut.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tran lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Morales quite badly. Morales pulls Tran in close trying to recover. Tran postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Morales on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Morales doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Viet Tran!
