Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bilbo Baggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sher Shah Suri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Suri is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bohemia-2 Of The Best Ft. RD . Bilbo Baggins is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bilbo Baggins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sher Shah Suri!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Suri scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Baggins doesn't seem bothered though.
Baggins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Suri throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Baggins lunges at Suri with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Suri's hand.
Baggins has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
No luck for Baggins with that takedown attempt.
Suri takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Sher Shah Suri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Baggins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Suri avoids it really well and circles away.

Suri swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Suri throws a hook to the side of Baggins's head but Baggins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Suri manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Baggins manages to get himself to full guard.

Suri pulls Baggins in to control the position.
Suri is continuing to stall.
Baggins chips away with some ground and pound.
Suri can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Baggins controls the pace.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baggins cracks Suri with a solid left hand.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Baggins trying to control the position from guard on top but Suri is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Baggins has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Suri is on top in guard.

Baggins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Suri working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Baggins controls Suri momentarily but Suri frees himself.
Baggins pulls Suri in close to his closed guard and prevents Suri from doing any damage or advancing position.
Baggins has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Suri in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Suri looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Baggins is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Suri stuns Baggins with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Baggins throws a body punch but Suri moves out of range.
Suri swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Suri throws the left hand but Baggins avoids the punch easily.
Suri swings for the body but Baggins moves out of range.
Baggins misses with a hook. Suri ducked under it nicely.
Suri throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Suri feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bagginss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Suri stalks Baggins and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Baggins's face. Baggins staggers backwards, shaken.


It looks like Bilbo Baggins has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Sher Shah Suri dominated that round.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Suri throws out a loose jab but Baggins uses good head movement to avoid it.

Baggins shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Suri napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Sher Shah Suri comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Suri has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
