The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garp lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Jones prevents Garp from improving his position.
Jones not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Jones thows a huge punch but Garp dodges it nicely.

Jones has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Garp wants to control but Jones is keeping busy.
Garp really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
