Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brad Marchand (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Machado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Manny Machado was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marchand shoots in looking for a takedown but Machado manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Marchand's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Marchand goes for a double leg but Machado avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Machado continues to drive forward.

Marchand has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Machado is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Machado creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Machado rattles Marchand with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Marchand tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Machado dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Marchand stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Manny Machado!
Manny Machado spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
