Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimbo Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Macotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jenkins kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Heaven Shall Burn - Combat. Macotti is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Drown - Theory of a Deadman. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Macotti's calf.
Macotti fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Macotti shoots for a takedown but Jenkins saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Macotti has a takedown stuffed.
Jimbo Jenkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marco Macotti.
Macotti fails with a takedown attempt.
Macotti blocks a head kick by Jenkins.
Jenkins throws a right hand that Macotti ducks under and follows up with a left that Macotti also avoids with ease.
Macotti closes the distance and clinches up with Jenkins, looking for a takedown. Macotti pushes Jenkins against the cage but Jenkins circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jimbo Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Macotti shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jenkins is trying to defend but Macotti finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Macotti wants to control but Jenkins is keeping him busy.
