Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Flavio Sandoval (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jakke Ruutu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruutu has chosen 50 Cent - I'm Supposed to Die Tonight as his entrance music. Jakke Ruutu is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good work by Ruutu as he checks the leg kick.
Sandoval looks for the body kick but Ruutu saw that one coming.

Ruutu stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Ruutu throws a hook to the side of Sandoval's head but Sandoval sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Sandoval uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ruutu has time to react.

Sandoval avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Sandoval takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Ruutu misses with a hook. Sandoval ducked under it nicely.

Jakke Ruutu seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Ruutu throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sandoval stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Flavio Sandoval overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Sandoval sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Ruutu's guard.
Ruutu is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sandoval's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sandoval's back!

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Ruutu is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sandoval seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ruutu does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ruutu feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Sandovals jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Ruutu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sandoval looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

After the fight, Jakke Ruutu was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
