Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 10 - 3, fighting out of London, Yancy Malaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Kyle Rad!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malaki scores with a nice strike.
Malaki swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rad.
A low kick from Rad misses
and Rad takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.


Rad is rocked!
A nice inside leg kick there by Rad. That's going to slow Malaki down.
Malaki fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Rad has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Malaki misses with an uppercut. Rad saw that one coming.
Rad lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Rad moves away from the strike by Malaki.
Malaki scores with a shot to the body.
Malaki throws a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rad looks for the body kick but Malaki saw that one coming.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Rad has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Malaki connects with a right hand. Rad shakes it off.
Rad is still on wobbly legs! Can Malaki finish him?
Kyle Rad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Malaki fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rad manages to avoid it.
Rad seems to have recovered his senses.

Rad does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Malaki missing with a left hand there. Rad was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rad tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Malaki moves into range and connects with a jab.
Malaki will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Malaki looks to land a left hand but Rad moved out of range nicely.
Malaki dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Rad motions for Malaki to come forward. Rad throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Rad uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Malaki.

A clash of legs there as Malaki blocks the low kick.
Malaki connects with a right hand. Rad shakes it off.
Rad lands a leg kick that knocks Malaki off balance momentarily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rad fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Malaki is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Rad pivots, looking for a leg kick but Malaki is out of range and Rad settles back down.

Malaki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Malaki just misses with a punch to the body.
Rad throws the kick towards the body but Malaki avoids it.
Malaki is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Rad takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Malaki looks to land a left hand but Rad moved out of range nicely.

Malaki lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Rad misses with a hook.

Rad throws a hook to the side of Malaki's head but Malaki sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Rad tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Malaki is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.

Malaki takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Rad takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

and Malaki counters with a big right hand! Oh Rad is in trouble here! Malaki follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!

Yancy Malaki seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Kyle Rad was interviewed post fight and said 'Just a bad day bitch. next time i will fuck you up good.'.
