And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Matt Kerbouchard!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Russell Pearce.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoodlum throws a body punch but Kerbouchard moves out of range.
Kerbouchard avoids the head kick by Hoodlum.
A big left from Hoodlum misses.
Hoodlum circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kerbouchard checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hoodlum throws a lazy right hand but Kerbouchard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kerbouchard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hoodlum misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kerbouchard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kerbouchard looks to land a body kick but Hoodlum moved away.
Hoodlum connects with a leg kick. Kerbouchard looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Kerbouchard tries to clinch up.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kerbouchard checks a leg kick.

Kerbouchard walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Hoodlum is looking to score with low kicks.
Hoodlum thows a left - swing and a miss!
Nice shot lands for Hoodlum.
Hoodlum uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kerbouchard has time to react.
The Hoodlum is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hoodlum tries to land a front kick but Kerbouchard steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
An inside leg kick lands from Hoodlum.

Kerbouchard clinches up with Hoodlum and pushes him back against the ropes.
We've been informed that Kerbouchard has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hoodlum.

Hoodlum breaks the clinch.
Hoodlum throws the kick towards the body but Kerbouchard avoids it.
Kerbouchard slips under a jab.

Kerbouchard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Kerbouchard moves out of range as Hoodlum throws a body kick.
Kerbouchard takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Kerbouchard misses with a head kick.
Hoodlum with a hook.
Hoodlum thows a body kick. Kerbouchard tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Hoodlum pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A combination from Kerbouchard does no damage.

Hoodlum fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kerbouchard.
Hoodlum cracks Kerbouchard with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hoodlum throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Kerbouchard takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Kerbouchard tries to clinch there but Hoodlum circles away.
A nice inside leg kick there by Hoodlum. That's going to slow Kerbouchard down.

Kerbouchard clinches with his opponent.

Hoodlum on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Hoodlum lands a right hand.
Hoodlum scores with a nice hook to the head.

Kerbouchard is rocked!

Hoodlum breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Kerbouchard is still on wobbly legs! Can Hoodlum finish him?
Hoodlum circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Kerbouchard to the canvas! Kerbouchard doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Hoodlum keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
