The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mendez throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mendez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mendez throws out a counter right but Chantry avoids it with no problem.

Chantry feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Mendez sprawling to the canvas! Mendez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Chantry finish him?!

Mendez tries to clinch up but Chantry pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Mendez to the mat! Mendez covers up and Chantry unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
