Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but McClelland might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Saadiev has got the better of the exchanges.

Saadiev throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on McClelland's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Saadiev dives in looking to finish as McClelland flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Saadiev's strikes! Saadiev is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! McClelland's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but McClelland was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
