The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Speed throws the kick towards the body but Fortunado avoids it.
Fortunado has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Jungle Elite MMA in the buildup to the fight.
Fortunado plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Daniel Speed has been cut.
Fortunado misses with a straight right.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Fortunado.
Speed wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Speed staying out of range there.
Speed scores with a hook.
Fortunado scores with a jab to the jaw.
Fortunado jabs Speed right on the nose. Speed blinks but takes it well.
Speed connects with a solid leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Speed gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That has opened up Daniel Speed's cut even more.
Fortunado throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Speed.
Fortunado slips a jab from Speed.
Speed connects with a leg kick. Fortunado looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Speed is looking to score with low kicks.
Speed jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fortunado looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Fortunado swings away with a leg kick that misses.

Fortunado drops Speed with a beautiful combination! Speed stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Fortunado is looking for the KO!

Speed throws a body kick that misses.
A lazy left from Speed finds it's target.

It looks like Donzel Fortunado has been cut.
Fortunado swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Fortunado drops Speed with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Speed looks back up at him and smiles so Fortunado waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Speed is still on wobbly legs! Can Fortunado finish him?

The cut above Daniel Speed's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Fortunado sends Speed crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Fortunado is motioning to the referee to let Speed up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Daniel Speed's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fortunado throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Speed seems to have recovered his senses.
Speed dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fortunado.
Speed has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Speed throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Speed uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Fortunado.
Fortunado looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Good exchange - Speed coming out on top.
Fortunado misses with a body shot.
Fortunado takes a kick to the side of the head.
Fortunado slips under a jab.
