PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight kickboxing rules bout between Stannis Baratheon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Javier Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Baratheon kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is House Baratheon. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Baratheon checks it well.
Martin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Martin lands a nice shot that snaps Baratheon's head back.
Baratheon takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Baratheon is looking to clinch.
Martin blocks a head kick by Baratheon.
Baratheon throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

It looks like Javier Martin has been cut.
Baratheon takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Martin feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Baratheons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Martin throws a lazy head kick
and Baratheon takes advantage, countering with a massive head kick that sends Martin sprawling across the canvas! That's completely screwed up his equilibrium and I'm not sure he's going to beat the count! The referee's already at 6 and Martin is flopping around all over the place - the referee has seen enough and has called an end to the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Stannis Baratheon!
In his post fight interview, Stannis Baratheon started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
