The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bennett lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Hughs tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hughs scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Bennett shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Hughs has cracked Bennett with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Hughs lands another huge swinging hook and Bennett tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Bennett , before Hughs can land any more shots!
