Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between The Steel Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conan Crom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Crom has chosen Anvil of Crom as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Crom gets caught flat footed, as Steel Penn shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Crom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Crom holds on and takes a little breather.

Steel Penn lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Crom circles away quickly and effectively.
Crom looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Steel Penn shoots in for a takedown but Crom shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Crom! But no joy.
Crom pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Steel Penn back to the cage. Crom follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like The Steel Penn has been cut.

Steel Penn shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Steel Penn showed some decent athleticism there.

We've been hearing good reports from Steel Penn's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Steel Penn shoots for a double leg takedown but Crom sprawls well. He's pushed Steel Penn's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Crom is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Steel Penn looks to land a right hand but Crom moved out of range.
A little jabbing left from Crom on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Steel Penn throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Crom's waist but Crom gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Steel Penn off to one side.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Steel Penn.

Crom sends Steel Penn crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Crom is motioning to the referee to let Steel Penn up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Crom stuffs the takedown.
It seemed like Crom was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Steel Penn.
Crom drops Steel Penn with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Steel Penn! Crom dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
