Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Damozzi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bary Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Frank Damozzi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bary Allen!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damozzi tries a head kick but it misses.
Allen throws a leg kick but Damozzi moved away.
Damozzi looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Allen lands with a right hand.
Damozzi moves out of range of the leg kick from Allen.
Allen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Damozzi connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A looping hook to the body misses from Allen. Damozzi does a little dance to reset his feet.
Damozzi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Allen checks a leg kick.
Allen lands with a good body shot.
Allen tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Damozzi is able to avoid easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Damozzi moves away.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Damozzi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Allen has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Allen and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Bary Allen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Allen connects with an inside leg kick.
Allen misses with a body shot.
Allen throws a chopping leg kick but Damozzi manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Damozzi throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Allen sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Allen lands a nice leg kick that just misses Damozzi's sensitive parts.
Damozzi lands a nice looking body shot.
Allen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

A big right from Damozzi misses.
A decent looking cross lands there for Allen.
Allen cracks Damozzi with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Allen thuds his right hand into Damozzi's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Damozzi misses with a low kick.
Allen moves in looking to clinch but Damozzi pushes him off.
Allen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Allen misses the jab.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Allen.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Damozzi counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Allen looking to hit a scissor sweep but Damozzi is one step ahead there.

Allen preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Damozzi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Damozzi accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Allen really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Damozzi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Damozzi throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Allen can do anything to dispel that myth.

Allen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Damozzi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Damozzi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Allen connects with a crisp jab.
Damozzi misses with a low kick.
A chopping leg kick lands by Allen.
Allen slips a straight right by Damozzi.
Allen ducks under a wild hook from Damozzi.
Bary Allen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Damozzi fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Allen on the side of the head.

Damozzi postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Allen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Damozzi trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Damozzi is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Allen looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Damozzi puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Allen has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Damozzi is working away from the top position though.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Damozzi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Allen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Frank Damozzi will probably get the nod.

Allen lands with a thumping leg kick.
Damozzi with a jab.
Allen scores with a nice strike.
Damozzi takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Allen misses with a low kick.
Damozzi with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Damozzi on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Allen. Allen obviously looking to wear him down.
Allen connects with an inside leg kick.
Allen ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Damozzi moves away.
Allen shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Allen tries to clinch up but Damozzi circles away and keeps his distance.
Allen throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
A big right from Allen misses.
Allen looks to score with a jab to the body but Damozzi is just out of range.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Allen takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Damozzi misses with a looping right.
Allen misses with a body kick.
Allen misses with an uppercut. Damozzi saw that one coming.
Allen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
A decent looking cross lands there for Damozzi.
An inside leg kick from Damozzi misses.
Damozzi shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Allen but Allen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Allen with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Damozzi to score with a decent uppercut.
Allen tests Damozzi's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Damozzi is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Allen stuffs the takedown attempt from Damozzi. Damozzi gets slowly back to his feet.
Damozzi moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.

Allen throws out a powerful jab.
Damozzi throws a front kick aimed at Allen's knee but Allen avoids it well.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Damozzi tries for a takedown but Allen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Damozzi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Allen throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Damozzi stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Allen fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

and Damozzi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Allen's guard.

Damozzi drops back, looking for a kneebar! Allen looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Allen looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Allen!

Damozzi tries to improve position but can't.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
Damozzi tries to bench press Allen off him but Allen keeps the position.
Damozzi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Damozzi gets back to half guard.

Allen prevents Damozzi from improving his position.
Damozzi is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Allen's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Allen's back!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Allen trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Damozzi has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Allen.
Frank Damozzi overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Damozzi throwing strikes from the back - he gets a warning from the referee for striking the back of the head but all these shots are hurting Allen!

A close second round but Bary Allen will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Damozzi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Allen uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Damozzi has time to react.

Allen avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Damozzi throws a big right hand that misses.
Allen has momentary wrist control but Damozzi slips an elbow through the middle.
Damozzi distracts Allen with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Allen is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Damozzi wants to improve his position but Allen is controlling well.
Allen seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Damozzi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Allen sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Damozzi defending well though.
Allen thows a huge punch but Damozzi dodges it nicely.
Damozzi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Allen looking to sit in guard and control but Damozzi gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Allen is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Some wild striking there from Allen.
Damozzi lands a body shot.
Damozzi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Allen can pounce on him.
Allen misses the jab.
Damozzi scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Allen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Damozzi was well out of range. Poor timing from Allen.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Allen scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Damozzi ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nice body punch from Allen.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Frank Damozzi.
I think Damozzi has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
