The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Layser.
Layser misses with a body shot

and Olin counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Layser is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Olin works his way into full mount!
Layser is bucking up trying to escape but Olin cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Olin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Layser has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Olin wants to control the pace but Layser is squirming around nicely.
Layser is in a horrible position here. Olin smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Olin postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Layser badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Olin around the waist but Olin pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Olin is the winner by TKO! Olin jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
